make the church healthy again
I started The Refinery Movement with one clear goal:
To run toward the love of God—unapologetically.
Not just in my personal life.
Not just on Sundays.
But in my business, my body, my mindset… and yes, in the gym.
Why? Because for far too long, I felt a deep loneliness in the fitness space.
It’s an industry that often idolizes bodies over souls, numbers over truth, and aesthetics over identity. You’re constantly bombarded with messages like:
“Be smaller. Look better. Perform more. Hustle harder.”
And beneath the surface of it all?
A quiet, sneaky strategy from the enemy:
An attack on beauty.
But I’m not here to build another table like that.
I’m not creating just another fitness brand.
I'm Building a Different Table
This table?
It’s a space for women who are ready to flip the script.
To shift from a worldly mindset to a Godly one.
It’s a space where your identity doesn’t start at the scale or the mirror—it starts with who God says you are.
It’s a space rooted in truth, honor, and the radical, freeing love of Jesus.
When I first got the vision for The Refinery Movement, it lit a fire in me—but I also knew it came with risk.
The world says:
“Don’t bring your faith into your business.”
“Keep it neutral. Keep it safe.”
But here’s the thing:
I’m not trying to build a safe brand.
I’m trying to build a set apart one.
I’m not here to please everyone.
I’m here to be obedient.
Why "Make the Church Healthy Again"?
Yes, it’s bold.
Yes, it makes people pause.
And yes, some people have questions.
“Why make your fitness brand like this?”
“Isn’t it a little too religious or too political?”
Let me clear this up.
Religious? Absolutely.
My faith isn’t a feature—it’s the foundation.
I’m a daughter of the King, and that identity flows into every decision I make, from macros to mission statements.
If that’s not for you, that’s okay. You’re still loved. And there are plenty of other coaches out there that can be a good fit for you.
Political? Not exactly.
But let’s talk about the word "political" for a second. In Philippians 1:27, Paul urges believers to “live your life [Greek: politeuomai] in a manner worthy of the gospel.”
That word literally has a political root—it means to live as a citizen of Heaven.
That’s the kind of "politics" I care about.
So no—I’m not running for office. That is not my gift or calling.
But I am running toward righteousness.
And that means my business, my coaching, and my brand will always reflect that.
As a Christian, I will conduct my life a certain way- and yes sometimes that crosses over into the political realm. This is not about red or blue, this is spiritual- this is deeper.
The Narrow Road Isn’t Always Easy
Here’s what I’ve learned:
The more open I am about my faith, the more aligned my life becomes.
I’ve attracted better friendships.
A STRONG man of God came into my life.
And more driven, committed clients—who care about more than just how they look in the mirror.
I’m not afraid of backlash.
Jesus already warned us:
“If the world hates you, remember that it hated me first.” – John 15:18
“Everyone who wants to live a godly life in Christ Jesus will be persecuted.” – 2 Timothy 3:12
“Blessed are those who are persecuted because of righteousness, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.” – Matthew 5:10
I’m not chasing the approval of a world that crucified a perfect man.
I'm standing for something bigger.
Charlie Kirk inspired me very much, and after his assassination, I feel even more called to share the love of Jesus.
The Refinery Isn’t for Everyone—and That’s Okay
I’m not here to be polarizing for the sake of being polarizing and for views. That’s ridiculous and fake. That’s performative.
But I am here to be real.
I’ve found that the more boldly I live out my calling, the more my people find me.
You don’t have to water yourself down to be accepted.
You don’t have to be vague to be “safe.”
You just have to be who God made you to be.
That’s the message I live by. And that’s the heart of The Refinery Movement.
Speaking of Truth… Let’s Rock the Boat
We live in a world of extremes.
On one side:
A “body positivity” movement that excuses gluttony and discourages stewardship.
On the other:
A toxic obsession with thinness that celebrates disordered eating and self-hatred.
Both are lies.
Both keep women stuck.
Both are from the pit of hell.
At The Refinery Movement, we’re done bowing to broken systems.
We believe your body is a temple—not an idol.
We believe in healing—not hustling.
We believe in strength—not shame.
And we believe that the church should be a leader in the health space—not a follower.
This Is a Call to Rise
If you’re reading this and feeling a little uncomfortable—but you know deep down that this is truth—you’re in the right place.
Because conviction isn’t a bad thing.
Condemnation is from the enemy.
But conviction? That’s what sets you free.
Romans 8:1 – “There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.”
So if you’re tired of:
Doing it the world’s way
Feeling stuck in cycles of shame
Wondering if it’s even possible to honor God in your health journey
Here’s your answer:
Yes, it is.
And you’re not alone.
That’s why The Refinery Movement exists.
We’re creating a space where women can heal, get strong, and reclaim their confidence—not in the world’s definition of beauty, but in God’s truth.
